I have worked as a newspaper lifestyle editor, then the editor of a glossy bimonthly magazine, and now as the editor of both fiction and nonfiction books.
For two years, I served as a reviewer for the indie section of Kirkus Reviews. While it was nice to be paid to read books, I learned that I much preferred helping authors make a book better before it comes out, not simply pointing out the flaws and weaknesses once a book is already in print. I take great pride in working to make my clients’ books the best they can be!
I am happy to consider the editing of nonfiction projects and will be glad to provide a quote for my services. My fiction editing is available for booking exclusively through Red Adept Editing, where I am under contract as a line editor and copy editor.
